LAYER CAKE
Samantha's favourite brain teaser session: The art of layering separate movements over one another.
Definitely a drills focused class, we will slowly work our way up to layering elementary movements over one another whilst stationary and traveling. Strengthening techniques for key isolations included, honing muscle memory for that clean technique we all strive for.
Bring a Yoga mat for warm up and cool down.

CHOREOGRAPHY
Intermediate
An original choreography featuring spins, twists, layering and imagery. Moving away from technique technique technique to the payoff...DANCING... Explore a little deeper the art of performance through tips and tricks based on Samantha's theatre studies and extensive performance experience. A layering exercise will be featured to facilitate parts of the dance as well as improvisational sections utilising the lock and flow technique This dance flows at a slower pace enabling the dancer to consider various aspects related to better performance and technique.
Come dressed for a workout. Please bring a Yoga Mat, note book and water.
